Dr. Hendrickson is a practicing educational therapist in Solana Beach with a background in medicine, psychology and educational therapy. She works with children with learning differences, especially reading challenges such as dyslexia, utilizing multisensory techniques. She is on the board of IDA, San Diego and serves as their secretary.

Jennifer Petrich, Ph.D.

Presenting: Recent Research on Dyslexia

Dr. Petrich is a researcher in the Laboratory of Language and Cognitive Neuroscience at San Diego State University. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience and has completed research on developmental dyslexia as well as on other topics in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She worked as a clinician in Baltimore, MD for five years teaching Lindamood-Bell programs to both children and adults and presents workshops these programs. She is on the board of IDA, San Diego.

Danielle works with children who have difficulty with fine motor skills (such as handwriting, coloring, cutting), visual motor and perceptual skills, and sensory integration. She treats children with a variety of diagnoses such as autism, sensory processing disorders, learning disabilities, ADD, dysgraphia, and cerebral palsy.
